Anneke Barrie

Anneke was born and raised in Southern California and had the privilege of growing up between three breathtaking places—San Clemente, Santa Monica, and Cabo San Lucas. Each one shaped her in its own way, giving her a deep appreciation for both the energy of the city and the endless love of the ocean. The best of both worlds!

She started surfing at the age of 3 and entered her first competition at 5. By 12, she was fully immersed in a professional surfing career that took her around the world until she was 21. Today, she still feels lucky enough to travel for surfing, but now it's purely for the love of it—driven by fun and passion rather than competition. Traveling has been one of her greatest teachers, introducing her to incredible people, new cultures, and unforgettable experiences.

When Anneke is not in the ocean, you’ll probably find her at her family’s ranch in Idaho, riding horses and soaking in nature. And when winter rolls around, she usually trades in her surfboard for a snowboard, embracing every moment of the season.
